Flu,flu go away!!

We have been sick with what we think is the flu, first Kelly came home with a sour throat, super tired, and a high fever. Then Chad came home with the same symptoms. Both kids stayed home from school which led to more stress for them because you have to make up all homework and schoolwork when you are sick, so sometimes it doesn’t pay to be sick. I know why kids go to school sick! It's just not worth staying home. I felt so bad for them. And then my husband came down with it. And I though I was going to loose it I have been in the house for two weeks with my sickens and now him.

Return Princess

Ok I did it! I returned eggos to costco (Kirkland brand) and they took them back. As I was driving to Costco I felt bad returning food, I could hear my mom in my head saying "people in some parts of this world our starving" So the guilt of my child hood came flooding back, but then I thought, I bought these eggos with hard earned money and they should taste good, when I got to Costco and I told the girl that they taste like glue and she said no problem. They returned the eggos and gave me back my money back. I love Costco.

Return Princess

Today I'm returning everything I have, that either taste terriable or dosn't fit! You know when you buy something and it says what size it is and when you take it out of the package it looks like it would fit your finger. I hate that! I bought my son some t-shirts the muscle one's you waer under your cloths. They were expensive and came in a package of three. Chad asked for more and I went back to Target and got a package of six (different brand) and cheaper. We took them out of the package and they look like they would fit his finger, so I returned them today without a receipt and Target took them back. Thank You Target!! My next mission is to return the Costo brand eggos. my kids didn't like them. So here I go! I'll let you know how I do later.

School Schedule

Ok life has been a little busy, we are getting used to the winter schedule, I thought we were doing pretty good getting back to routine. Then our son came home with his baseball schedule. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday he lifts weights in 6th. period and on Friday morning he lifts weights also, BUT at 6:30 AM! As you know I hate getting up early in the morning! As soon as he brought the schedule home all I could think about is poor me. Then "MOMBO" kicked in, I realize that Chad loves baseball and I will just have to tell  his Dad that he is the chosen one to bring Chad to school on Firidays! HEHEHE.

Back to School

Today was the first day back to school, as a mom it is bitter sweet to think my babies are in high school and junior high. I love having them home with me it's fun sleeping in, eating whenever, staying up late watching Disney channel or Discovery channel, going to the movies, not having to worry about bedtime, and the dreaded homework. During the summer we are a little relaxed on the rules. During the school year we have such a tight schedule, and if we go off the schedule you find yourself yelling at your kids every night like did you brush your teeth, shower, homework, hurry up go to bed. I hate that!  I hate having a strict schedule. I love Summer!
