Back to School

Today was the first day back to school, as a mom it is bitter sweet to think my babies are in high school and junior high. I love having them home with me it's fun sleeping in, eating whenever, staying up late watching Disney channel or Discovery channel, going to the movies, not having to worry about bedtime, and the dreaded homework. During the summer we are a little relaxed on the rules. During the school year we have such a tight schedule, and if we go off the schedule you find yourself yelling at your kids every night like did you brush your teeth, shower, homework, hurry up go to bed. I hate that!  I hate having a strict schedule. I love Summer!

Braces Meets Tongue

Yesterday we went to see Kelly's friend sing at the park. Every week the park's have a concert, We brought the whole family and Chad's friend Devin who was hungry and decided to get something to eat at one of the food stands. As he was eating his tongue got stuck on his braces! Yes it had to happen on my watch! Luckily there was a paramedic there and I asked him to look at his mouth, the paramedic told me he would have to go to the emergency room. Just my luck! So I called his dad to come and get him, as his dad left the first think that I thought was I hope his dad is not mad at me. Why is it when you have somebodies kid with you and they get hurt you automatically think that its your fault! how I hate MOTHERS GUILT!

Vacation!

We just got back from Lake Havasu, after a four hour drive (Hubby wouldn't stop for anything). We made it to our little spot Havasu Landing, it's so nice you can rent a Mobile home on the water, which I love because you can sit on the porch sipping a drink and watch the kids play in the water. This year our son is old enough to drive a Sea-Doo all by his self, He was so excited and I was a nervous wreck but he did a very good job for his first time he also learned to wakeboard, Which is big for him he is not Keen on learning new things, I think his nerves get the best of him. We talked about it and he was willing to deal with his nerves and give it a try. I'm so proud of him! Our little princess also water skied and got right up. She is so cute she is our dare devil. The kids loved the lake and want to go back every year. As for me, I love floating in the water talking with old friends, looking at all the hills surrounding you it is so peaceful you forget about all your worries, and at night there our a million stars it's so relaxing.

I Hate Getting Up Early

Today, I got up at the crack of dawn, thinking what did I do wrong I thought it was summer, go to bed when you want, get up when you want. I have a princess life, I did everything a princess should do, I married my prince charming, had two kid's the future King and Princess of our dynasty. Then I remembered our little princess has a soccer game, how I hate getting up! but when I see her face sparkle with excitement about playing soccer today. I have to be excited also and I remember what makes little princess happy makes me happy.

Faucet sparkle

I don't know what got into me but, I decided to clean the faucet's in my bathroom they were starting to look ugly, and the only thing that worked on that ugly spotty faucet is lemon oil, I'm so excited that it works! I thought I would have to take a jack hammer to the darn faucet.

Summer Boredom

Today I decided to take the kids to Downtown Disney to walk around and have lunch. We have to do something, the summer boredom has set in. When we arrived at Downtown Disney we decided to go to California Adventure, it was a lot of fun. The first ride we went on was Soaring' Over California. I love that ride it is so peaceful and reminds me of how lucky we are to live in California. We had lunch at the Pizza Oom Mow Mow. It was Yucky! and over priced, all I could think of was the roast I put in the crock pot before we left.

We will hold are heads up high, To be one of the top teams in the Western Zone, is something to be proud of. We love our Cypress Pony boys!

Monday, August 3, 2009

Today is the day Cypress Pony All stars play the game of there life, if we win we will go onto the Pony World Series in Washington, PA. We are playing a against a team from Riverside,CA. They are a good team but, I feel like they are cheating they had there high school players come back for All-Stars. I feel sad for the Riverside players who played all year long hoping to make the All Star team and did not make it because Riverside pony decide to let there high school boys (who did not play in the regular season) Play on the all star team. So I hope the Cypress boys WIN!!
